As part of efforts to reduce data disruption, Empower Retirement accounts will now only refresh during our nightly account sync rather than each time you log in to your Personal Capital account. Adding a new account or editing an existing one will also trigger a refresh, but to see the latest data you may need to wait until the next day.
If you currently have an Empower account linked, you may need to re-enter your login credentials. Follow the steps outlined in this FAQ for help with this process.
When linking your account for the first time, you should see a prompt to enter some additional security information, usually a code. Make sure you enter the code quickly as these tend to time out after about two minutes. If you still have trouble linking this account please reach out to support and we will be happy to help!
