Deposits and withdrawals can be requested directly through your Empower Dashboard and the Empower mobile app.
Transferring via your Empower Dashboard:
- Select the “Banking” tab at the top of your Dashboard.
- Select the “Transfer Funds” option.
A) For Deposits to your Empower Personal Cash account, select "Contribute" ; For Withdrawals from your Empower Personal Cash account, select "Withdraw" - Select the other account you want involved in the transfer request. Note: Accounts with a red or yellow dot are not eligible for transfers.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer.
- Select the transfer frequency (one-time, weekly, monthly, annually)
- Review your selected accounts, and the amount to be transferred before checking the authorization box.
- Click "Continue"
- Click "Confirm Transfer" to submit your transfer.
Transferring on the Empower mobile app:
- Log into the Empower mobile app
- Select your Empower Personal Cash account
- Select the 3 dots in the top right corner of your device
- Click "Transfer Funds"
- Select the account you wish to transfer “From”.
- Select the account you wish to transfer "To".
- Enter the amount to transfer.
- Select the transfer frequency (one-time, weekly, monthly, annually)
- Review your selected accounts and the amount to be transferred before checking the authorization box.
- Click Next, followed by the "Confirm Transfer" option to submit your transfer.
Outgoing Wire Transfers (Domestic):
- We support outgoing Wire transfers (withdrawals) for client real-estate purchases in excess of $10,000 Monday through Friday (except Federal Holidays) from 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Pacific Time).
- To request the required Wire transfer form, please contact us for immediate assistance.
