How to change your phone number in Personal Capital

You can change your phone number across all of our platforms (website, android mobile device, & apple mobile devices).

 

Below are the steps to change your phone number across these different devices 

Website:

1. Login to your Personal Capital account at www.personalcapital.com

2. Hover over your name in the upper right hand corner and select settings

3. Under the "security settings" select edit next to the mobile phone selection

4. Enter your password for your Personal Capital account

5. Change the phone number to your new phone number and click save

 

Android:

1. Login to your Personal Capital account via our Personal Capital app

2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of the app

3. Select settings

4. Click on account and then select mobile number

5. Enter your six digit pin

6. Change the phone number to your new phone number and click change

 

Apple iPhone App:

1. Login to your Personal Capital account via the Personal Capital app

2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper left hand corner

3. Click on the two gear icons in the upper right of the menu that comes up

4. Click on the mobile number option

5. Change the phone number to your new phone number and click done

 

Apple iPad App:

1. Login to your Personal Capital account via the iPad app 

2. Click on settings in the bottom left 

3. Click on the mobile phone option 

4. Change the phone number to your new phone number and click done
