Recently E*Trade made some changes where the users have to enable online account access to view details. This is preventing new accounts from linking in Personal Capital. To clear the error, please complete the following steps in Personal Capital:
1. Click on the 'Visit Site' button shown next to E*Trade.
2. Navigate to the account details/balances page and complete the requested information.
3. Return to Personal Capital and click 'Continue' shown next to E*Trade.
Once these steps are completed, your account should link. If it doesn't, please Contact Us.
