Interactive Brokers has recently created a new process for linking your accounts to Personal Capital. Please log in to the Interactive Brokers website and navigate to Reports > Settings > Third-Party Services. From there, click the Activate link for our aggregator, Yodlee. This will create a Token and Query ID that you will need to use to link your accounts with Personal Capital.
Once you have your Token and Query ID, please use our 'Add Account tool' to search for/add "Interactive Brokers (US)". You can use the newly created Token and Query ID to link your account with Personal Capital.
If you've linked your Interactive Brokers accounts prior to 09/14/2021, the accounts will be moved to this new process and may require you to resubmit the credentials using the Token and Query ID.
If you see a duplication of your accounts after being moved, we recommend you mark the original instances of these accounts as closed, and set the 'closed date' to be the date of first balance of the 'new' instances of the account. This will ensure that the historical data between both accounts transitions smoothly. For more information on how to mark accounts as closed, please refer to this article.
